Kestrel Superyachts
Ownership

The first Kestrel 106 superyacht is now for sale and is expected to be ready for delivery Spring 2012. The selling price for this yacht with very comprehensive specification and equipment is €7.5 million. Due to its exceptionally spacious accommodation for eight guests (and up to ten with Pullmen berths), the Kestrel 106 is well suited to being run as either a private or commercial vessel and can be flagged appropriately. As a guide the estimated annual operating costs for a superyacht are typically between five and ten per cent of the purchase price.

THE KESTREL 106 AS A COMMERCIAL VESSEL
For many owners the concept of charter is attractive as it provides an income stream to set against annual running and maintenance costs. Remarkably few large motor or sailing yachts charter as a serious business proposition, but the opportunities to do so clearly exist where an annual profit becomes the objective - rather than just a contribution to running costs.

The team at Watkins Superyachts are well versed in all ownership options and yacht management. Adrian McCourt from Watkins and Peter Cooke from the Kestrel Syndicate are the key points of contact for the acquisition of a Kestrel yacht. Please contact us if you would like further information and a comparison of costs for using the Kestrel 106 as a business proposition.
